Jeff has been teaching and performing for over 30 years. He has experience in jazz, rock, blues, latin, improv, musicals, creating solos, double bass, drumline, and odd time signatures. Jeff students ages range from 5 years and up, and all skill levels are welcome. Jeff believes that teaching drumming can be approached in a multidimensional fashion. that is to say that many aspects and styles of drumming can be added together to produce a well rounded drummer. Music reading combined with jazz, latin studies, rudiment studies and learning to play by ear can all be taught together or separately to give students the tools necessary to achieve their goals.
